Project PI: Malika Meghjani

Project Period: 7 March 2019 – 20 June 2021

Description:

Current swarm robotic systems such as swarm of unmanned aerial vehicles (SUAVs) or swarm of unmanned ground vehicle (SUGVs) lack self-learning capabilities to automatically evolve their behavior tactics (such as what behavior or action to execute at a specific situation state in response to the situation), therefore these swarm robots are unable to auto-program themselves through self-learning. This project aims to explore and develop self-learning capabilities for swarm robotic systems so as to enable them to auto-program themselves through interactions with simulation environments given a particular set of environmental conditions and constraints.
